Kate Jackson Readies Debut Solo Single

Maybe you do not remember The Long Blondes, but their 2006 album Someone To Drive You Home is one of our all-time favourites. Afte the band split up in October 2008, frontwoman Kate Jackson has been working on her solo record with Bernard Butler. She uploaded the song "Homeward Bound" in March 2010 on her MySpace page. Now, Kate's got her debut single ready.

"Wonder Feeling/The Atlantic" will be released on December 5 on a very limited 7" vinyl via The Vinyl Factory. The record is housed in triple 7" gatefold, featuring 6 panels of artwork by Kate, revealing the song's narratives, with each edition screen printed, numbered and hand signed. The record is limited to 300 copies and you can pre-order it now.

The two tracks are produced by Bernard Butler, and he also co-writes the songs with Kate. Click below for the full songs:
